Thank you to those of you who completed the spring survey. As a club, we have acknowledged your comments and are trying to make improvements wherever possible. The following are some responses to your concerns.
Response:The CJSA (CT Junior Soccer Association) determines age requirements for its member clubs. For the upcoming season, players will be playing with others that have the same birth year.Silent sidelines are also determined by the CJSA.
Quality of Coaching:
Response:ESC requires all of its competitive coaches to obtain their E license; we also strongly encourage all recreation league coaches to go through training that is offered by the club. Last year, we provided a G license course that was attended by nearly 30 coaches. We will continue to look for additional training opportunities for our coaches.
Response:The club is committed to creating an environment that is physically and emotionally safe. The club will not tolerate bullying, harassment or discrimination. If one feels this is a problem not being handled by the coach, please raise the concern to a Board Member immediately.
Response:We ask that parents serve as role models and represent Enfield in a positive and respectful manner.
Response:Rec games that have a referee will be closely monitored for the upcoming season.
In closing, it was great to learn of the many positive experiences and great coaches that are a part of the Enfield Soccer Club. We look forward to a another successful season.Thank you.
